Welcome aboard folks, if you're reading this you've become a part of the Tate Family's summer 2010 excursion across the nation. You will be able to follow along from your home computer exactly where we are in the country, what we're doing, and what absurd encounter's that our family has had along the way!
So to get this started - here is the scoop. This is my older blog I used for all my personal travel while I was studying abroad in Europe. From here on, I'll cover my travel in the United States. It's pretty simple.
The goal is to blog as often as possible during the trip, explain the sights, sounds, and experiences and capture them through prose for your reading pleasure. Our family is "Darwinistic" so although this is supposed to be a lovely family vacation, it's survival of the fittest, and this might as well be our domestic version of the "Amazing Race." Anything is possible, anything can happen, and I hope you enjoy the experience as much as we will. Cheers!
